How the Quote Process Works
Everything below describes what this website actually does today. Nothing here promises a response time, a delivery window, or an inventory position.
Product-family discovery
A searchable catalog of product families across hose, couplings, sealing products, flanges, fasteners, valves, tools, instrumentation, and safety supply. Search, category filtering, and sorting all work from shareable URLs, so a colleague opening your link sees the same results.
Specification-based requests
Each family asks for the details that matter for that product type — diameters, lengths, classes, materials, ranges, connections, size breakdowns. Everything you enter is recorded as your requirement for review, not treated as a confirmed product specification.
Multi-item RFQs
A persistent quote list holds up to 100 lines. Lines can be edited, duplicated for a second size, and removed. Two items from the same family with different specifications stay on separate lines and are never merged.
Preferred-brand requests
Every line has a field for a preferred manufacturer or the part number being replaced, and a per-line switch stating whether an equivalent alternative may be proposed. Nothing is substituted unless you allow it.
Project material-list intake
Paste a list from a spreadsheet or a plain-text note. Columns are read as Description, Quantity, Unit, and Specifications, ambiguous rows are flagged, and you review a preview before anything is imported. The original text stays attached to each line.
Organized submission
The request form collects your items, project and delivery details, and contact information in three steps with a full review before sending, so a request arrives as one document rather than a thread of messages.
What this site does not claim
A quote-driven supplier gets judged on accuracy, so it is worth stating plainly what has not been confirmed for publication.
